Nihongo Labo original reading material

Are you having difficulties finding Japanese reading materials which match with your proficiency level?
Here is our first version of “Tadoku = read a lot” book for you.

The story is written in Japanese on the beginner level, along with Japanese pronounciation witten in alphabet and English translation.

It’s a short story about the city of Rotterdam, where Nihongo Labo Rotterdam is located.
I hope you’ll have a fun time reading and get to know about this wonderful city.

Workshop “Let’s Speak Japanese” at Round & Round in May 27

Are you fascinated with Japanese sweets and also the sound of Japanese language?

The workshop “Let’s Speak Japanese” at Round & Round is for anyone who is interested in learning Japanese language but has never dared to try until now. In this workshop you will have a quick look at the Japanese language and learn some useful expressions. You will be surprised how easy it is to start speaking Japanese!
Round & Round will prepare nice Japanese tea and sweets for all participants 🙂

Time: May 27th (Sunday), 2018 11:00 – 12:00

After one hour of the workshop, you will be able to:
– Greet in Japanese
– Introduce yourself in Japanese
– Order food and drinks at cafes in Japan
You will also learn:
– How to pronounce Japanese
– Japanese writing & grammar system in a nutshell
– Characteristics of Japanese language in comparison with English
– Do’s and don’ts at cafes in Japan
– Study tips

You will be provided with the list of words and sentences you have learned, Hiragana chart and grammar notes, so that you can look back and practice further at home.
Maximal: 8 people

Workshop fee: 19.50 euro/p.p.

Workshop “Japanese Letters and Characters”

Op 20 april, 2018 (vr) hebben we workshop “Japanese Letters and Characters” afgerond met volle bezetting!
In de eerste, het ontstaan van Kanji’s, Hiragana’s en Katakana’s was besproken. Daarna hebben we de schrijfwijze van Japanse letters en karakters geleerd door shodou (Japanse kalligrafie).

This workshop “Japanese letters and characters” is a one-off chance for you to get a through explaination on how to write Japanese letters and charactes.  You can also try Japanese calligraphy.

Nieuwe reeks groepsles “Japans voor beginners” vanaf 5 april, 2018

Vanaf 5 april, 2018 (donderdag) begint weer een nieuwe reeks groepsles “Japans voor beginners”.

Het is kleinschalig (max. 4 personen) en praktijk gericht cursus met veel interacties in het Japans. U kunt ook gerust vragen stellen niet alleen over de taal maar ook over Japanse cultuur.

U wordt begeleid door een professionele erkende docent (met JLTCT certificaat), native speaker Japans.  De gebruikt methode is “marugoto” ontwikkeld door Japan Foundation. Naast de twee boeken zijn er gratis digitale beeld en luister materiaal online.

Kosten: EUR 350.00 voor 1.5 uur les x 10 keer, exclusief kosten voor  Marugoto Starter A1 boeken (te koop bij Nihongo Labo Rotterdam)
Tijd:  Elke donderdag avond van 20:30 tot 22:00, beginnend vanaf 5 april, 2018.

オランダの冬がようやく終わりました。みなさま、この冬はいかがお過ごしでしたか？しばらく冬眠していたおはなしライブですが、春の訪れとともに再開いたします。
